Roscoflamex PA is a clear, un-pigmented additive for creating a flame retardant paint layer. Add one full jar of Roscoflamex PA to a US gallon (3.79L) of water based paint to make your paint coating flame retardant. Roscoflamex PA is compatible in most latex or vinyl acrylic paints but always test with your specific paint choice. Do not use Roscoflamex PA with metallic paints as the metal pigments may react and tarnish or corrode. Roscoflamex PA does NOT alter the flammability of the substrate being painted but only adds a retardant treatment that slows the spread of fire along the surface.

DESCRIPTION: Rosco flamex Paint Additive is a liquid flame retardant additive intended for use with most water based, latex or vinyl acrylic paints.
APPEARANCE: Clear, un-pigmented liquid that will not affect the colour of paint.
USE: Mix with most latex or vinyl water based paints. Test for compatibility. Not suitable for use with metallic pigments.
FINISH: Typically leaves no residue. Will not affect the consistency of the paint or paint finish.
APPLICATION: Normal paint application. Follow paint manufacturer’s recommendation for application. Minimum of two coats recommended to achieve a 3mil dry film thickness.
MIX RATIO: Add one jar of Paint Additive to one (1) US Gallon (3.875 L) of paint.
HAZARD: May cause skin and eye irritation on some people. Use in a well ventilated area.
COVERAGE: Estimated 28 square metres per gallon.
DRYING: Allow to dry naturally or using forced hot air.
COMPOSITION: Water soluble inorganic salts. Safe for professional use.
